Ugly-looking but deliciously tasting apple pancakes

Today I decided to make pancakes for dinner but these aren't just any pancakes, they're APPLE pancakes! Now, I haven't actually tasked them to say they're deliciously tasting (see title) but I know for a fact they are, and that's that.

Ingredients:
*Pancake mix
*1 egg
*3/4 cup milk
*1 tbsp oil
*1 apple

Directions:
*Make the batter according to the instructions on the box. In other words, throw all ingredients except for the apple into a bowl and mix.
*Cut the apple into small cubes.
*Pour the batter onto the pan.
*Add the apple cubes onto the pancake.
*Flip your flapjack.
*Remove from the pan when it's golden brown.

Et voila! Here are my pancakes.

NOTE: I made the mistake of adding the apple into batter for the last two pancakes because I thought it made sense since the apple would be more evenly distributed. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT make the same mistake I did unless you want to end up with horrendously looking pancakes (see picture below). I learned the hard way.

Bon appetit!!
